50–200 t Bolted Sectional Cement Silos

Bolted sectional silos in the 50–200 t range are transported as curved steel panels and assembled on site. Six reference models are intended for export and long-distance logistics where transporting a fully welded silo body is impractical.

Overview

Product overview

A bolted sectional silo is assembled from separate curved shell, roof and cone panels. This design allows the components to be packed more compactly than a large fully welded body. The factory document lists 50, 60, 80, 100, 150 and 200 t models. Nominal capacity must be checked against material bulk density and the permitted filling level.

Main components

Main components include prepared curved shell panels, sectional roof and cone panels, support legs and bracing, anchor assemblies, bolts and sealing materials, access ladder and roof guardrail, filling pipe, outlet gate and screw-conveyor connection. Filter, pressure-safety device, level indication and flow-aid equipment depend on the approved configuration.

Configuration and supply scope

Panel thickness, fastener and sealant package, paint, filter type, number of level sensors, pressure valve, aeration, screw conveyor and electrical scope are defined in the final engineering offer. The screw size, length, angle and power are selected from material demand and plant layout.

Installation and maintenance

Site assembly requires a crane, a controlled work area, a prepared foundation and anchors, a qualified crew and specified bolt-tightening procedures. Before operation, the joints, seals, supports and safety devices are inspected. Routine maintenance covers fasteners, seals, filter, pressure device, level sensors, cone and supports.
